Yesterday we have seen some basic words and sentences in telugu. To view my previous post please click here. Today we are going to see some sentences and with it's meaning. if it had any mistakes, please Let me know about it.
Let's take the following conversation,
(meeting our old friend)
A: Hi B, how are you
A: Hi B, meeru yeta underu
B: hi A. i am fine. and you?
B: Hi A, Nenu baagunnanu/nasa unadanu. mari nuvu?
A: I am fine and how is your family ?
A: Nenu bagunnanu mari intla andarum nasa undera/bagunnara?
B: They are also Fine. Where are you?
B: Varu baguntharu. nuvu ekkada unnavu?
A: I am in --- place. and you?
A: nenu ---la unnanu. nuvu?
B: I am in ---.Had lunch?
B: nenu --la unnanu. bhojanam chesava/ thintuva?
A: No, I am searching a hotel for food.
A: Lethu. nenu bhonjam chesthanuki hotel kanukunnanu.
B: yet, you didn't have lunch? I am also going to hotel.Come with me, let us go.
B: inka, nuvu thinna letha? nenu kooda hotelki velthunnanu/ pothanu. naa kooda Randi.
A: yeah sure.
A: yeah sure.
The vocabulary used in above conversation is,
how - yeta
am/ are - undi
you - underu
i - nenu
fine - baga (bagunnanu means telling about ourself) / nasa
and - mari
family - kudumbamu (but here i said intla . intla means in home.)
all - andarum
they - varu
where - ekkada
lunch -bhojanam
had lunch - bhojanam chesava/ thintuva
no/ not - lethu
searching - kanukunnanu
yet - inka
also - kooda
going-pothanu / velthunnanu.
come - ra
HEre note,
you - nuvu, meeru (respect)
some words, end with vu like unnavu, chesavu. it will be called to the person you (without respect),
if you want to call (with respect), add ru at end. eg: unnaru, chesaru.
